Pride and Prejudice comics

Pride and Prejudice is now published in so many formats. Here is another item for the P&P junkies:

IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife… Tailored from the adored Jane Austen classic, Marvel Comics is proud to present PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!

Two-time Rita Award-Winner Nancy Butler and fan-favorite Hugo Petras faithfully adapt the whimsical tale of Lizzy Bennet and her loveable-if-eccentric family, as they navigate through tricky British social circles. Will Lizzy’s father manage to marry off her five daughters, despite his wife’s incessant nagging? And will Lizzy’s beautiful sister Jane marry the handsome, wealthy Mr. Bingley, or will his brooding friend Mr. Darcy stand between their happiness?

"This project has been like a dream come true for me as a writer and as a former graphic designer—not only am I adapting a book I love, I am doing it in the one forum, comics, where words and pictures carry equal weight." Nancy Butler, two-time RITA winner and multiple RT Reviewer's Choice winner in Regency.

Sexy inspiration for Christmas

Christmas means a lot of parties.

When I was browsing for a costume online, I came across a lot of steamy ones which fuel my imagination for spicy stories.

Here are a few to wet your appetite.

Sex toys and fantasies

Yesterday I was reading a very spicy romance and it talked about sexual fantasies. There were the use of French maid costume, harem slave, phone sex, inflatable and fake fur bondage.

I wonder which type of fantasy tools adult shops sell more. It will be an interesting piece of statistics.

TDH > Cars

The hero in my stories is always TDH (tall, dark and handsome) and exceptionally rich. In one of my stories, I have done a bit of research to see what kind of car best suit him.

At one time I was debating if I should go for luxury, classic or high performance. In the end I have chosen a silver blue Bentley Continental GTC (not the one in the photo though) for him and I even had a steamy scene set in there.

I still remember one of the readers commented Bentley would be too small for such activity. Talking about people with special knowledge!

What car do you see your modern hero driving?

Soulful Eyes

I shot this sketch of a pretty woman by a street artist in Prague. She has soulful eyes, reminding me of the city that has such deep history. She seems to be saying:

"Life is full of ups and downs."

Please help yourself

I love to take photo of good food when I am on holiday. This is a kind of travel journal for me. How do you record your memorable moments in life?

Bow to the creators

I love smileys and want to toast to the talented creators of these fun images. (Hmmm, haven't been able to make them animate on this site, anyone has any idea how it works on blogger?) How about you? Do you have a favourite smileys?

There she thinks...

A new look for the blog, how about a week of less words and more...

Hmm, what is she thinking? Join the speculation and post a commment. I will start first:

***

Enid: "Will I see him tonight?"
Galen: "What IS that clump of white crap on the floor?"
K.A.: "The first step in my plan to take over the world has been achieved. Nanny has taken the children to the zoo for the day. Now for some cold salmon and a coup!"
Karen: "How am I going to get them to do what I want?"
Marvin: "Damn, it's hot ... wish I had a cold adult beverage in my other hand!"
Elle: "Whew! I'm done doing my blog rounds for the day..."
